The Center for Human Experience (C4HX) serves as a global collaboratory - a "collaborative-laboratory" - for co-design and co-creation of processes for and paths to experience improvement. We engage a diverse set of voices and perspectives from around the world in a commitment to transforming health and care.
This includes healthcare organizations and systems, governmental and non-governmental organizations, innovators and resource providers, healthcare professionals, educators, researchers, and the patients, families, care partners, and communities they support and serve.
C4HX will lead and participate in global inquiries into practices and processes, develop academic scholarship, and expand evidence-based knowledge that supports the transformation of human experience.
C4HX will convene a broad range of learning collaboratives on experience-based innovation, implementation, and improvement (i3) activities, bringing together diverse global voices for collective learning, knowledge sharing, and networked action.
C4HX will engage in collaborations and partnerships with established academic institutions globally to foster continuing and professional educational programs for enhancing experience leadership.
C4HX will cultivate a global cohort of coaches and mentors to support individual and organizational development, excellence, and improvement across the landscape of experience strategies and practices.

The Beryl Institute and the Office of Care Experience at Dartmouth Health are collaborating founding partners for the C4HX. Together, we are fostering the growth of the C4HX with a commitment in time, resources, and collaborative leadership.
Those who choose to engage in year one of the Center, through a commitment to contribute to and participate in one or more core activities beginning in the first year of C4HX activities.
The Center will be guided by an advisory board, led by representatives from the Founding Organizations, and inclusive of a global group of participating partners, patients, and community members. C4HX is supported via grants and other external funding.
C4HX is a 501(c)(3) operated in association with The Beryl Institute, the global community of healthcare professionals and experience champions committed to transforming the human experience in healthcare. As a pioneer and leader of the experience movement and patient experience profession for over 15 years, the Institute offers unparalleled access to unbiased research and proven practices, networking and professional development opportunities and a safe, neutral space to exchange ideas and learn from others.
